Create Perfect Valentines Projects Using Stamps And Card From Stampin' Up.

This is the first of my Valentines Projects for the year. I intend to give them to my down line and think they'll be great filled with chocolates, cookies, or even some small note cards.

I made the pattern myself, so if you'd like a copy you can contact me here. Make sure you leave an email address so I can email it to you. Then all you need do is run some card stock through your printer, cut out the pattern and join with sticky strip. I'll add the instructions too if you want them, but it's a pretty straight forward construction.

I've kept to the traditional Valentines colours of pink, rose and white for these two "bags", but do plan to try them in other colour ranges. I think any little girl would enjoy draping the heart bag on her wrist, especially if it has something yummy in it.

In addition to a variety of heart stamps, I've used some of the beautiful Stampin Up ribbon, some Silver Hodge Podge, available in the Summer Mini Catalogue, a Rhinestone Brad, and the fab White Gel Pen for the faux stitching.

I always think that layering embellishments gives a great finish to any paper craft and especially like it on these little bags. I used the Stampin Dimensionals to raise the darker heart up. This also gave me room to position the back of the brad leaving the front nice and smooth.

The lighter pink heart bag is wrapped in white taffeta ribbon. Again I've raised one heart off the card stock, and finished off with faux stitching.

I'll be adding more Valentines Projects this week so come back and visit the site soon.
