Use Rubber Stamps For The Title Of A Scrap Page To Achieve Unique Layouts.

This Scrap page is the result of using rubber stamps and some favourite photos in a Build A Layout challenge from the Aussie Scrapbooking site. I stumbled upon it while surfing one day, and it has been amazingly helpful to my very inadequate knowledge of Scrapbooking.

The challenge is so much fun and gives you daily step by step instructions. This allows you to inject lots of your own creativity into the page and you find yourself "hanging out" for the next step each day.

Artwork by Ann Craig. Stamped images, patterned papers, textured card stock and accessories are from Stampin Up. Layout inspired by Jill in the B-A-L challenge #3 at

Aussie Scrapbooking!

If you are new to scrapping like I am, or even if you are very experienced, you will find this site has something for everyone. I really can't wait until tomorrow for the next B-A-L challenge, and I can see my scrap pages are going to multiply very quickly.

This page features my gorgeous grandson Tyler. At just one week old we constantly hovered wherever he was sleeping, camera in hand, just waiting for him to wake up and play.

The Stampin Up products I used are:

Barely Banana 12 x 12 textured card stock, double sided designer series paper - Spring Showers (retired 2007 -08 Catalogue) I recommend going with something soft like Spring Silhouettes or Le Jardin from the current catalogue. Coloured Buttons - Soft Subtles and Earth Elements and Neutrals: Stamping Write Markers - Earth Elements and Rich Regals, Blender pens and Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad, and the Crafters Tool Kit for making the faux stitching holes in the journalling strips.

You can see some of my other scrap pages in my scrap page gallery and follow my journey as I discover just what my style is.

Now it is time to remind everyone that the fantastic Stampin' Up! Hostess Benefits Promotion ends on July 15th. You still have time to either book a workshop with me or organize yourself a catalogue workshop, where you gather orders that total just $700.00 before P & H, and submit the order to me with payment on or before 15th July. An extra free $50.00 is great in anybody's books!
