CANBERRA CRAFT & QUILT FAIR- August 6 - 9, 2009 Our big news! We, (my Stampin Up group of demonstrators) have been accepted to have a booth at the Canberra Craft Fair. STAMP CAMP - Next on the list is an invitation to join me for a day that celebrates Christmas In July.

Stamps camps give you the luxury of spending an entire day doing what you love – stamping and creating – and on this day we will get a head start on our Christmas cards. 10 cards – all designed especially for the day, using a number of different Stampin’ Up stamps and wheels, will put you ahead of schedule for this year’s hand made Christmas Cards.

Cost of the Stamp Camp is just $65.00 and that includes the beautiful “A Wish For Peace” Stamp Set valued at $29.95. (You may substitute another set if you wish – just pay the price difference). Product & additional card packs of these designs can be ordered at the camp. I’ve just discovered the delights of the fabulous new FINE SUPERNOVA GLITTER and the SWEET STICKY CUTS. What a wonderful way to quickly bling up any card, scrap page or accessory. Check out page 145 of the catalogue to find these items. OK but how do you use them? It’s really very easy. Give this a try.

Peel the backing paper off the shape and press it onto the recipient surface. Apply good pressure. Then peel off the front cover and sprinkle with the glitter. Brush lightly to remove extras and funnel any excess glitter back into the container. Don’t forget to work over a clean sheet of paper!

My Scrapbook class dates will need to change a bit over the next 2 months. Why? Lucky me is going places! Gold Coast in July for Calisthenics National Championships, and the beautiful USA in August (yeah it's summer over there) for a high school reunion. I've organized to attend a workshop while in the USA, so I should come home with some of the latest ideas. Check the revised dates in the Calendar below.

If you would like to join the scrapbook classes you are very welcome. The classes are for scrappers of all experiences - you may never have done a page and would like to start, or you may be able to add your experience in Scrapping to the group. Either way you are very welcome.

The cost is just $5.00 per night and you have access to all my Stampin Up goodies. We work on one technique/layout per night, and the same one is repeated throughout the month. Usually the classes are held on the FIRST TUESDAY and the SECOND WEDNESDAY of each month.

I am also looking at starting a DAYTIME SCRAPBOOK CLASS - so if anyone is interested, give me a call.

Many of you love the Stampin Up Ribbons but feel you would not use all the ribbon provided on a roll. This is where I can help you out. I am providing a RIBBON SHARE. I will purchase the ribbons, divide them into packs and post/deliver them to you. This is a great way to get samples of all the ribbons, and have them available to use in your craft work or if you are a demonstrator, show them in your workshops with out having the expense of buying full packs of each colour. SHARE # 2 - DOUBLE STITCHED GROSGRAIN (2.5 cm wide) Cost $20.00 includes postage. 4 people required for this share You receive 2.2 meters of each colour. (4 colours) Colours: Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip.

SHARE # 3 - TAFFETA RIBBON SHARE Cost $13.00 includes postage. 9 people required for this share. You receive 1 meter of each colour. ( 9 colours.) Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Whisper White, Basic Grey, Mellow Moss, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red.

Please email me with your interest in the share and as soon as each share is filled I'll divide up the ribbon and deliver it to you. You can take more than one share in each type of ribbon if you wish.

**Please note the date change for Wednesday Scrap Nights in both July and August. I will be interstate and overseas on the regular nights but would love to see the regulars, and any new members on the advertised nights.
